The lifebuoy weighs no less than 4.3kg, is set on both sides of the driving deck, and is suitable for vessels, personnel in the water to quickly release the lifebuoy, to indicate the location of the person falling into the water, so that after the ship slowed down, the lifeboat (rescue boat) can be lowered for quick search and rescue.
LNK-LB43 Marine Lifebuoys typically require simultaneous installation of a lifebuoy light or a self-igniting smoke signal device, providing sufficient positional and directional indications for maritime search and rescue.
The main body of the LNK-LB Series Marine Lifebuoy is orange-red, and features four evenly positioned, 50mm-wide retroreflective bands around its circumference. Between these reflective bands, there are four equally spaced buoyancy lifelines, each with a length not less than four times the outer diameter of the lifebuoy, creating four identical rope loops.
To enhance efficiency in nighttime search and rescue operations, it is recommended to use LONAKO’s independently designed and manufactured lifebuoy series products in conjunction with the LNK-LB Series Lifebuoys:
For lifebuoys used in oceanic or hazardous areas, it is advised to pair them with LNK-LB-01B Lifebuoy Light
For lifebuoys used in recreational, calm, and nearshore waters, it is recommended to pair them with the LNK-LB-02B Lifebuoy Light
For lifebuoys used in explosion-proof environments such as oil and gas exploration and transportation, it is suggested to pair them with the LNK-LB-03B ATEX Lifebuoy Light
