LNK-PLD Series Composite Pilot ladder

The LNK-PLD-TA composite pilot ladders are assembled with independently developed composite steps, composite step fixtures, polyester rope, and other components. They are used as devices for pilots to embark and leave the ship safely.

The LNK-PLD-TA composite pilot ladders comply with ISO 799-1:2019 standard requirements. The maximum length of the entire rope ladder can reach 36meters, meeting market application.

(1) The independently developed composite materials have undergone a one-year aging certification test according to the ISO 877-2:2009 standard (that retains at least 30% of its original tensile strength and at least 80% of its original impact strength). The tested materials' average tensile and impact strength are far higher than the standard requirements, and their mechanical properties are excellent.

(2) The standard and spreader steps are made of composite materials through integrated molding using thermoplastic technology, with a maximum load of more than 11 kN. The composite steps have excellent tensile, impact, aging, corrosion, and other properties, and they fully comply with the requirements of the ISO 799-1: 2019 standard. The hollow structure design can reduce wind resistance and improve the rope ladder's stability.

(3) The step fixtures are made of composite materials through injection molding to ensure stable and reliable load-bearing strength. They are matched with closed aluminum buckles fix steps that meet the requirements of ISO 209:2007 standard (grade containing not more than 0,06% copper) to ensure that each step of the rope ladder can meet the load-bearing requirement of 8.8 kN.

(4) The  side ropes use spun thermoset polyester rope with a polypropylene core, in a contrasting color. The breaking strength and configuration meet the requirements of ISO 1181:2004, with high tensile strength and excellent anti-aging performance, effectively improving the safety and service life of the entire rope ladder.

a. Each side rope shall have a breaking strength of at least 24 kN, and the specification of the diameter of side ropes is 22 mm. 

b. A securing rope, if used to aid in rigging the ladder,  has a breaking strength of at least 48 kN, and the specification of the diameter of securing ropes is 28 mm. 

(5) The rubber steps comply with ISO 799-1:2019 standards and ensure a load-bearing capacity of over 8.8 kN.

(6) The thimbles are made of 316 stainless steel and complies with ISO 15510:2014 standard requirements to ensure the rope ladder is securely fixed to the ship.

(7) All components of the LNK-PLD-TA composite pilot ladders are independently developed, which can ensure the stable and reliable quality of batch materials and the safety and durability of the entire rope ladder. Moreover, all materials can be recycled, which is truly environmentally friendly.
